    Republican Convention

Republican Convention is about to start and I heard that many anarchists are planning to disrupt the GOP Convention. Many of these anti Bush group are giving letters and hand-outs, saying what to do and how to get away from cops. 264 people were arrested for disorderly conduct last night already. How can New York city allow these people to come in.
I am free of all prejudices. I hate every one equally.

a little off topic but oh well

Britney Spears was supposed to be at one of the Republican Conventions but too many people protested against it.

Good Question. This Republican trash should not be allowed anywhere near New York

Good point.New York is primarily a Democratic state, so why they would pick NY I have no idea. I think they had it in Houston either last time or the time before. That'd be a nice conservative hangout. I think it's good there will be protesters, show Bush that people do, indeed, hate him. Show him that he is not acting through God and that he is just another true redneck who, when he loses in Nov, will get kicked out of Texas (hopefully)

He's holding it in New York so that he can gain support and endorsments there. New York has a lot of money and a lot of people and he is trying to get votes in a state he is currently doing poorly in. Texas is a lock for him, so he has no reason to hold it there.

I don't support Bush, but that's why he is doing it. Protestors won't hurt him. It'll only make reactionary hillbillies mad, causing them to vote.

Where else would they go if they want to still milk the post 9/11 terrorist attack climate for votes?

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

Bush want to buy new York like he bought Florida cause of his bother Jebby Boy. Only my opinion mind yah but a state with that size population, thats prob. one major reason they had the convention there in the first place.

Seriously dude, if thats how you think of protestors, you have one backwards view of this country. Peaceful protest is as american as baseball and apple pie.

As far as I am concerned I dont care if they hold the Republican Convention in nyc. They are going to hold at Madison Square Garden which is in manhattan *thank goodness* I dont live in manhattan.

They should be allowed to hold the convention even though others might not agree with it. I dont agree with it but that would be censorship if they would not be allowed to have the republican convention.

on a side note though since I do live in nyc i believe that the tax payers of nyc should have not have to pay for this convention although most of the funds are coming from the federal government. I am sure money will be gained though from this convention but I still feel that if they wanted this convention they should pay the whole bill and not expect others to pay for their convention.

*hmm pure crapulence * = repulican convention
