    Video syncing??

Hey is there like any program to syncronize video files? At least i think its called syncronizing, see the thing is i have a few video files that work fine, but like the audio to the movies are like maybe two or three seconds off the video, so like you hear them say something then you see them, well you all know what i mean. Is there any program or anything to fix that so the audio and video are right on que with each other??

In Windows Media Player there is an option to drop frames in order to keep video sync, that may help some files. Otherwise you have to do some manual editing with a program like vdub, which I know absolutely nothing about.

You can import the video file into an editing app(such as Final Cut, Vegas, Premiere, etc.) and it will give you two tracks(one for audio, and one for video) You can then move the audio track untill the video syncs with the audio. Then export the file and youre done. Problem is, you will loose a chunk of the audio form the original file(usually in the amount of time it was not syncd by).

I'v seen that. It may be because your computer is too slow to play the file with lagging or you need a better codec or player. If it's a popular file then it's probably not the file that is broken.

naw its a simpsons episode, i use windows media, also somtimes divx player, dependin on the codecs and junk. The file works and you can watch it, its just a little aggrivating when like you see the mouth move then like a second or two you actually hear the word
