    Windows Media PLayer

Can anyone help. Occassionally I download films (avi's) from Kazaa Lite but when I play them on Windows Media Player 9 the film plays but the time counter goes really quick and then at the end after 20 seconds it will pause the picture but the audio will continue. If I move the bottom bar back or forward it will go later parts of the film but will just freeze the screem. Basically the whole film is there but for some reason WMP is not playing it properly.

Is this because a lack of codecs/software corruption or just the files I download!???

    Help

I find Divx is the best for avi filed. Get the latest version and get the Xvid codec, I think there is a link from the Divx site. Also, read what is included on the site, maybe the xvid is already in the latest version of Divx.
