Found by chance ....a decent 80's Brit rock group..sort of wiggie. I like 'em..anyone else heard of 'em?
"Art Lover" has got to be my favorite track. :)

You can't be talking about The Kinks I'm thinking about. Lola, Come Dancing? If so the singer is having serious health problems. He just had another stroke last week.
Much too famous for you just to now be hearing of them.
edit; wait, I'm just too old :mellow
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
No, you're not too old, I've known of the Kinks for years..... Just had a damn hard time trying to find any albums of theirs.
I'm not even supposed to be here today!
Ah well I've heard of "The Kinks" (same guys now that I checked) but never "Kinks" which this was labeled as, but yes, Lola is one of their tracks as is Destroyer and a load of other crap I've heard before but never connected.Originally Posted by TheScaryOne

The Kinks were part of the original British Invasion in the mid-sixties. Had a ton of hit singles back then, including You Really Got Me, All Day & All of the Night, Tired of Waiting, Dedicated Follower of Fashion, etc. Ray Davies has been called the English Bob Dylan, and you could argue that they were the progenitor of metal music. They have a ton of albums, and their sound evolved over time - but I would recommend you start with the Kink's Greatest Hits (Rhino Records), which covers most of their 60's stuff.
Other notable albums include, Everybody's In Show-biz, The Kink Kontroversy, The Kink Kronikles
Lola vs. Powerman and the Moneygoround, Muswell Hillbillies & Village Green Preservation Society.
