    Audio/Video out of sync

Will using DivFix to Rebuild the Index synchonize the audio and video? Appreciate your comments--friendly ones only, pls. <smile>

Donno as I don't use it...but VirtualDub usually takes care of all my sync problems with one click of the "Set audio and video duration to match"

Possible to divfix the file then run it through vdub to resync...you may have to play with offset manually if the damaged frames really did a number on it.

Thanks for suggesting I use VirtualDub, but I'm just not smart enough to figure out how. I don't understand any of its screens and nowhere can I find your phrase "Set audio and video duration." Does anyone else have information for me?

I see another posting has started about this same problem, so know others have it. I don't have the technical experience or know-how to deal with editing tools. Unless someone can help me with instruction "by the numbers", I'll just have to continue living with it. Bummer!
