i got final fantasy 7 from (some place) and i got all the stuff i needed to play it but when i click on it.The screen turns black like its going to play but then it goes away!
could someone tell me whats wrong?

try getting a no cd for it.
Well, perhaps we need more information. Was this a copied CD for the PS-X ? An ISO with a PS-X emulator ? (I recommend ePSXe.) Or the PC version which you probably downloaded ?
And, what is your video card ?

Make sure you have the minimum requirements.
Definately sounds like a video card problem.
what vid card and system specs are you running on
