I have just started realizing the extent of the risks involved with file-sharing....so i have come up with a few questions. Please dont flame me if the questions are stupid :;)
1.Just what are the chances of getting caught?
2.Do different programs, allow for safer sharing than others?
3.If i only have about 8 songs in my shared folder, am i still vulnerable to getting caught...i ask this because i rarely see any uploads on the transfer sections?
4. Do programs like Peer guardian actually help?
5. What are other fool-proof methods to reducing the risks?
6. Does the RIAA first give out a notice or a warning before finally taking actions?
Thanks to anyone who takes the time.
