    Angry Rejoin tar files

I have downloaded a file in 2 portions. CD1 and CD2 these are tar files which I know how to burn as .bin/.cue but is there a way to rejoin these 2 or if not what format should I look for I have a DVD burner but it seems of little use if I am downloading CD size files

Do you mean you want to make one whole movie instead of two parts(cd1+cd2)?The are two ways I know, one is to extract the mpeg from each bin file using Isobuster, then join the two mpegs using TmpgPEnc;or use VCDgear to convert each bin file to mpeg then join them. You then have one complete mpeg movie........

In my experience the joining 2 mpegs can be difficult using tmpeg (errors) - a really simple way to join 2 SVCD ISO's or .BIN/.CUE is to a) extract the mpeg file using isobuster or any other similar proggy b) once you have both mpegs, use dvdlab to author and burn your dvd - simply place your mpeg files in sequential order c) you may have to patch the header files of the mpeg, generally you dont though - when watching the movie on your dvd player you may notice a half second pause between the files.
It is best to remain silent and let one think you a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
