Madden 2005 VS. ESPN 2K5

ok now that Madden 2005 is out and ESPN has been out what one do you like better. Madden all the way here even though once again ESPN does put up a pretty good fight. I like madden's franchise mode better and the game graphics kick ass as well.

I haven't played ESPN NFL 2K5, but if it follows suit with it's basketball counterpart, it is a more arcade style game, while ea's Madden (or NBA Live) is more realistic. I personally think ESPN is more fun to play, however it's not as technically realistic. Graphically, Madden or NBA Live are greatly inferior to ESPN.

i love madden,i have bought everygame since 1991 way back on the sega genesis.madden 2005 is no different it is hand down the best.

The ESPN games are good(ESPN baseball ain't bad either) but Madden and NCAA from EA will always be the best.

Hey I know this doesnt fit here but I didnt feel like starting a new thread about it. But if NHL goes on a lock out this year (which it looks like it will :-( ) will there be an NHL 2005 or NHL 2K5?

I seen a cover of NHL 2005 somewhere it had marcus naslund as the coverboy so Im guessin there will be a NHL game this year.

if you didn't know... the ESPN series is the old SEGA version... just re-branded and enhanced since the first NFL 2K came out. just a little info I thought I'd throw out there.

yep those werent bad games either. I have NFL 2K3 somewhere thats when it had ESPN but was not named ESPN. It was pretty good.

I've only played 2 ESPN games the football and the baseball and Im pretty impressed with both but for some reason there is always a game that is better then them in what genre they are.
