Wasting that sites bandwidth by downloading unnecessarily often would be rude. You should have your client set to automatically update it's server list when it connects to a server. Most people do not need to update their server list ever.

ok maybe every hour is too much but when its been on for about 8 hours i come back and theirs like 20 servers up and my downloads have stoped so i have to get a new server.met and everythings fine again.

What program do you use? coz I got eDonkey1.0 (i just unchecked those spywares) and I only have dial-up but their new overnet decentralized network is getting better with this original client. Centralized servers are getting old and a lot of eMule queues but I turn it on sometimes if I need more sources for rare files.
i have edonkey 1.0 pro and yes i agree this will help overnet grow but at the moment i still get most sources from edonkey servers(games and movies mainly)

damn... probably those eMule users gives you thousand queues on that file. :D Try to turn off your eDonkey server when you search next time so you will know which file that overnet has and make eDonkey server as a backup sources.
