Note that both Shareaza and the installer need testing before release, so keep an eye out for problems.

We are in feature freeze mode now- nothing will be added to the beta, we are only fixing bugs until release. Mostly, we are looking to fix and new bugs that have been introduced- long standing issues can wait a while longer.

Thing to test carefully:

The ed2k search fix- make 100% certain that Shareaza's behaviour has been corrected in all situations. (There were actually three causes for extra text searches on ed2k, make sure there isn't a fourth that we missed!)

Gnutella2 searching- it's been changed around a little. In addition to 'search more', the finding sources is a little different.

Download limiting- The "max files" and "max torrents" settings need a good test.



* Downloading from Gnutella (G1) clients no longer causes text searches to be sent to ed2k servers (Mike)

Wow! Those are a lot of bugfixes and features. It appears that Mogthecat has been very busy with Shareaza but it is nice to see that Mike is still helping Shareaza instead of just abandoning it.
