P2P Connection Trouble
I'm having trouble connecting to ANY P2P file sharing program. I can download and install the programs, but they never connect to the servers. I've tried KaZaA, winmx, Morpheus 2, audiogalaxy, BearShare, Grokster, Blubster, and audioGnome. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my computer or can I just never connect to a P2P network again?
I have a T1 connection on a LAN, if that helps. I don't think I have a personal firewall, and my college doesn't have a network firewall, either. Help!

Talk to other people in your college, to see if they can connect.
Most likely, your college does have a Firewall.

Yeah Lion is right. Now days for any public institution like that to not have a firewall would be strange. You could try one of the tunneling programs, but I'm no expert there, maybe someone could suggest one.
