Shareaza stops all Audio!

Hi everyone

I am facing a strange problem!

All the audio of my windows ( winXP ) gets disabled when when I run shazeraza (version 2).

Not only the media or real player, but all audio of the system.

Is there some kind of codec i should install or uninstall?


Please help me out.

it may need a video/sound card driver installed or direct x version. I had a problem where i got this error message saying unable to play file format.. so i updated the driver, works great. I do have shareaza installed on the pc to.

i checked the web and i found that i have the latest driver so the same problem is still there.

the problem occurs when i run shareaza and it's gone when i exit it.

any other suggestion please?

Seems that shareaza is taking exclusive usage of your media player. Make sure Shareaza isn't attempting to play any media when it's open. Also, you could try uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

If all else fails, go to the shareaza webpage and check the forums and request tech support there, I'm sure they could help you if we can't.
