Can someone explain to me why you are getting a low ID when you are behind a firewall. I know this question may sound stupid on the first look but think about it: It is said that you get a low ID because you are "not visible" for other useres but how is it then possible that I can upload right at the start 10 kb/s???
I would really appreciate it if someone could explain that to me...
in order to have a highID, you have to have a port open and redirected to your computer so that you can initiate and maintain connections without much additional help from the server.
when you have a LowID, you are connecting passively...and the server has to do more work.

I sometimes get a High ID with certain hubs/servers. Also I have the ports open but mostly I'll have a Low ID and there's nothing wrong about it. A Low ID also gives different temperary ID's with every connection to any server.

I've managed to get high ID on a LAN (on the server) but upon reconnecting to emule I sometimes get low IDs. Strange..
