I have windows xp, and the symptoms there showing to cause it, is unheard of for xp. I went to eat and watch tv a bit, came back. and bam.. No outlook express. The info you gave me, has a list of lot of things i have to do to get it up and running. When i click on add/remove programs.. IT takes forever for the list to populate for me to do anything. Ill try it later tonight. thanks for the info, i kept getting some bizar stuff when i googled it up, and some i would have to pay to see the answers.

I got norton all updated, and there is no way in hell it be a virus, since its not disabled, and i havent downloaded anything in a month. My outlook express has spam guard, and it dosent download file attachments. I didnt have it running, and then when i try to run it, it wont run. If its a virus, i think microsoft or any other would suggest its a virus, other then conflict in other OE versions.

Okay this is odd. I have microsoft outlook which came from OFFICE 2002. So i can log on to that and use it.. I hate the user interface of it, cant find my way around.. But managed to get my emails without doing it through the web. I couldnt do the thing to repair my outlook express, cause it didnt have a backup log of my email.. Its suppose to be dbx or something.. I had one of the files which was address book, but thats it =(

I would look up the .dll and redownload it...

THats a good sitte hunter.. The power got shut off from the storm last night, so my pc rebooted. So far outlook express is working again. So im not sure how can it just stop working and work all of a sudden with a reboot. My computer is only been up for six days.. I usually run it for about a month before rebooting.
