    P2P CPU hog

I was just wondering which filesharing program eats up the most CPU power. I wanted to list the five that I saw most commonly used. I did not include KaZaA, because its going the way of the dinosaurs; eDonkey2000 wasn't listed because its being replaced with Overnet.

Curently Emule. At one time I would have said Shareaza even though I am a loyal Shareaza user when 1.8 and up till the later 1.9 versions but version 2.0 has corrected that problem! The only one I can't speek about would be Azerus as I have not tried it yet. SoulSeek is very good too and very lite of the cpu but it is one of the ugliest programs too look at but it's not the looks it's how it works!

In my experience emule is far lighter on the cpu than overnet, even with Kad enabled. I use a PIII 350 MHz for my p2p client and it can't run overnet or edonkey for long, the load on the cpu is too great. It's fine with emule though.
