Azureus and Zone Alarm

Some words of warning:

I recently switched to Sygate Personal Firewall from Zone Alarm. I then installed Azureus and it ran really well. I decided to disable Sygate and reinstall Zone Alarm (why, I don't know?) and then Azureus didn't work at all.

I then disabled ZoneAlarm, reinstated Sygate and then Azureus worked again; but, I always had yellow smileys. After searching arounded I decided to uninstall Zone Alarm fully and reinstall Sygate - Azureus is now back to normal with lots of green smileys.

Therefore - Zone Alarm can interfere with your system even if it is disabled - so get rid of it properly.
