Help! Anything about WinMX protocol

Hi, everybody!
I try to build my own WinMX Java or C++ client, so I need ANY information about WinMX protocol including primary and secondary connection order, file registration order and so on. If anybody has any sources that can clarify the subject?
I think the collective efforts in this direction will help to make something real effective in OpenSource area.

i doubt you'll find much (if any) information--winmx is a closed source product...as is their network protocol.
