Nick is too long trying to connect to i2hub

Hello,
I'm trying to connect to i2hub's college network from my school and i keep getting a "nick is too long error" every time i try to connect. i've tried using every nick from one to 8 letters and get the same response. what am i doing wrong? thanks

i dont wanna come off as being rude but maybe you should consider asking someone at the school whos done it

according to their website, you should contact dr ttol on AOL Instant Messenger.
