I am using the original Bit Torrent client and i can't seem to cap upload. I don't know if I went about it the right way but made a shortcut then added the argument to the end of that... It seems it would work but I can't open any torrent in it. I click on a torrent and tell it "open with" the shortcut I made and for some reason Win XP doesn't like that... So any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and please don't tell me to get another client, I know other clients can cap upload but they don't seem to mix well with my comp (Everyone I have tried (Burst, BT++, etc) have froze my computer up bad), plus I love the simplicity of the original. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks a ton, Levi

rather than a shortcut, create a plain text document with the command that you put in the shortcut and rename it to a batchfile (whateveryouwant.bat). then see if you can open [up a torrent] with the batch file.

Thanks for the suggestion but it still doesn't work. I get an error (with Bit Torrent) that says "error:need responsefile or url". So yea I have no Idea. Anyhelp?
Thanks again.

Oh awesome, works perfectly! Thanks a ton! Oh btw, do you know how to make the dos prompt close right after loading the program?
Thanks again!, Levi
it should close already...Originally Posted by voidMX
try adding exit on the next line of the batch file.
