    copy paste trick

    does anyone know if there is a technique or program that will allow you to copy text from a web page and automatically paste the text into a p2p programs search window? It would be cool if someone has any info tips on this... thanks, D

    Try highlighting with your cursor and then pressing control + C, then press control + V in the area you wish to paste.

    I wonder how he managed to survive without this knowledge up to this point. I think a lack of "[Ctrl] + [C]" and "[Ctrl] + [V]" would kill me.

    You guys really shouldn't be so hard on lavisuals. If you read his post again, you'll see he didn't ask how to copy and paste information. He just asked if there was a way to have data automatically pasted to an application as soon as it was copied to the clipboard. In other words, he wants to know if there's an application that can monitor the clipboard for new data and then send this new data to a specified application as soon as it's found.

    also when you have a lot of blank fields to fill in.. Like name and address.. You can type your name, hit tab.. and it goes to the next line down, without clicking in the next box and taking your hand away from your mouse. =)
