OK, I have make torrent and am wondering about something. When I rip a cd to separate files and make a torrent from them, how do I go about making sure the files will burn and make a duplicate CD? For example, I have downloaded torrents and once burned to disk, they cannot be read by CDDB or FreeDb. They play fine but are like I burned a compilation from misc. mp3 files. I want to make sure that if I upload a torrent, whomever grabs it can burn their disk and have it read just like the original. Thanks.
CDDB or FREEDB cant read mp3 files that are burned on a cd. Its the front information on a disk that is sent back saying what it is. I have put in a cd of mixed songs and it cant get the data. For one, all the songs are different, different lengths. so they cant be determined of what album it is. And it goes for the whole album of any you burn.
I would imagine if ISOs were created you could duplicate the CD.
jaded by your desire, you were so pure
lived to please, always a beautiful smile
look into my eyes, imagine peace, happy
warm touch, we are drowning together
yeah but iso are so big and bulky.. =( I would use flac and cut it down a bit. I see alot of variable 192 albums on suprnova.
That's what I thought, that's why I'm puzzled. Here's a torrent I downloaded and after burning it to disk (Feurio) it made a CDDB readable CD.
