I was having several issues with many clients (ABC, Torrentstorm, etc.), namely downloads suddenly failing (because bittornado dies) and more importantly my machine becoming unusable with more than 1 download. I looked around for a while and tried several clients, until I ran into bitcomet.
It's very very CPU/memory friendly (i.e. it doesn't feel like you're running it at all), has a nice interface with more statistics, etc. than the other clients and a few more options than the other clients as well (for instance, it lets you recheck the file automatically when the download is done). I highly recommend it. It's at http://www.bitcomet.com/. The site is a little slow to download from, but it's really worth the wait. I'm not affiliated with them but I just had to come here and recommend it because it's so awesome.

I've had it before. I prefer Azureus, still. It's open, expandable and better looking than all other BT clients. Either way, welcome to ZP.
