Do you have a list of servers for Donkey and a cache of ip's for Gnutella?
try updating the ed2k list (located within shareaza's preferences)
napho, I appologise for being a p2p idiot, but where do I see a list of servers?
can't find preferences...:(( auuughhh!!!!!
In the battle of wits, you are simply not equipped
View/Host Cache/right click
F9 for Gnutella/right click
niether right clicking on host, nor f9 does anything....I hate shareaza...it hasn't worked a day in the 5 months I've had it. If anyone gets this to work, you made my christmas list

Re-installing may do the trick. Download version 2.0.0.0 at http://shareaza.stealthspy.net/download/
I feel your pain. I've tried shareaza a few times and it's been nothing but a hassle. I gave up and I'm using Overnet for ed2k files now. I suggest you do the same.
press f9 and delete everythin u see there.. it should reload default ones.. and for ed2k, go to the settings and under edonkey, download a new server.met file. you have dsl, some dsl modems r routers.. plz check to make sure
shareaza is a hit or miss thing. sometimes i'll do a fresh install and gnutella just wont connect, it'll go thru all the host cache and come up dry. honestly you might be better off with something other than limewire.
For G2 connections try mldonkey, shinobu or gnucleus.
