i havent had much luck with wrapped albums.. but rar is really good and alot of places on bit torrent to get them.
I agree, but some people still love to get them. Personally a combonation of SoulSeek, Emule Plus, and Azureus will yield me every album I could ever want. The edonkey network has an insane amount of good albums to be found. I mean you can find all the common stuff, then a lot of rarities. For example, I found Mr. Bungle's mainstream albums, then a ton of college albums and old independant demo type stuff that they did.Originally Posted by shawners
I use them & like tham..but...most users don't know that if you re-name an ALBW that it will no longer extract..it will become 1 long MP3.Originally Posted by shawners

Never had one. What are advantages of it, if there are any?
jaded by your desire, you were so pure
lived to please, always a beautiful smile
look into my eyes, imagine peace, happy
warm touch, we are drowning together
They take more work, but some people like them. There are no real advantages, unless you can't find the album in rar or zip format (or even ace). Basically it takes a little more work, but you get the same result. If the album is in a Wrap, you have to run a program to get it out, but if it's in an archive you can just extract it from the archive and use it.Originally Posted by DampCold
..also it has an MP3 extention..so you can play the file without having to extract them.
Yeah, but that is what m3u files are for ;) I'm not saying it's bad to be wrapped, but it's just an extra step to seperate. Really it depends on what you want.Originally Posted by lion7718
