I have been using Kaaza Lite for over a year and have not had any problems.I am trying Emule and
1. I have a hard time finding the best server to download video.
2. I have a DSL connection but when I connect to emules servers my downloads are extremely slow.
I would appreciate some assistance.
Thanks in advance.

This is completly normal. There is nothing to worry about. If you have DSL, all you need to worry about is connecting to a server and getting a high ID. Check the FAQ for more information about high ID's in eMule. One server is just as good as another, they all communicate with one another.
eMule/eDonkey/Overnet are all known for taking a while to start downloads, and not achieving speeds that are very high. Often if you are looking for videos, it could take days to get a single file. I, personally have had great luck with OverNet, both in the regions of starting quickly and achieving high speeds. Although high speeds in Overnet are about 30 kilo bytes per second. I can usually achieve at least 300 KBps on BitTorrent, and 650 from a professional server. But your asking about eMule. I'd say try to hit a target of about 30, occasionally you'll see it skyrocket. But the ticket to emule= PATIENCE.

secondly the sources that you download from are the reason the downloads are slow, u have to wait patiently for the file to download. once your download starts it will start with a good amount of sources etc, but sometimes you will be put in queve to get download from others.
other then that give the donkey a chance
