I would like some information to be posted here about this group. I can use google on it, but I would like people who know about smashing pumpkins to tell me about the group.
What is there best album, or the best songs you like from it as well

I'm not a huge fan, but I like "crestfallen," can't remember what album it's on. Corgan and co. split up and Corgan went and spawned off that other Z-band, can't remember the name of that either. That band is no-more as well.

Infinate sadness was a good double disk comp.
Siamese dream is good to fall asleep to.
Didn't like there last album really....

Most of there old stuff is pretty good especially the albums moneoa listed.

I used to like them. It's not that I thought Corgan was all that great of a singer, but I appreciated his writing and their instruments. Corgan is an insanely good song writer, but lacks somewhat vocally. I always get lost in their songs and completly forget about it though.

I think my favorite song by them is 1979. I hope someone someday writes a song like that about my generation, so I can look back and smile.

Zwan... The funny thing was, they sounded like a rip off of Our Lady Peace. That was why I refused to listen to them. On a side note, I bet their bass player Paz Lenchatin (spelling?) is regretting the day she quit A Perfect Circle for Zwan. :)

they broke up cause they suck. Actually they made a few great songs. Download their hits. Its a 2cd set that i have.

I only like some of the obvious and most popular of their songs.

1979, Today and Cherub Rock.

I tried to listen to Ava Adore, but it just didn't appeal to me.
