I definitely plan on it. I saw him last year and had a great time.

Haven't really listened to that album, I think I download a copy and see what it's like.

Right, like I could play a vinyl. Besides I will not be keeping the album since it is a RIAA label. I just wanted to see what his new stuff sounded like.

And if you really want to support him go to the clubs when he spins (which is what I am doing tonight).

:) Not quite that fanatic. CDs work for me... maybe if I had a house where I could do a more permanent setup, I would go with some vinyls. Since I live in an apartment and move about every year, I prefer to keep my possessions to a minimum.

I started myself off by buying a pair of cheap turntables and a simple mixer. It was belt drive but I did some modifications and made it direct. Ordered it out of a magazine, didn't really cost me much over $150 and allowed me to teach myself how to DJ without looking stupid in front of my friends. :)

I've now got a better setup of course, but if you do want to start that's my advice on what to get. Something resilliant that you can make mistakes on. Best to get all the silly mistakes over and done with on a junk system than on something decent.

Man, I would love to see Tiesto. But he only makes one stop in Canada (Toronto). Could have went this spring, just didnt have the $$$, and school got in the way.

As for the new album - Adiago for strings is the greatest Tiesto tune Ive heard. Traffic is great as well. Will have to buy this album (Given they sell trance in Prince albert)

Wish you all were there, Tiësto was absolutely thrilling. Not quite the level of the last show of his I saw but close. My only regret is that I forgot to purchase tickets and consequently had to wait in line for about an hour and a half.

Any tiesto event is worth waiting an hour and a half for.

Did you meet anyone interesting while you were waiting to get in?

I think Alice Deejay is a bit cheesy, but yeah you're right girls sound angelic in trance. Especially when they add tons of echo effect. Reeverb is ok, but echo/delay is definately better.

I also quite like the female trance artists. Especially Suzy Solar, she's hot. (musically and uh... otherwise) :gj
