Beastie Boys "To the Five Boroughs" Drops 7/15/2K4

As the title oh-so-unsutbtly suggests, the Beatie Boys are releasing their follow-up to "Hello Nasty" on the fifteenth of June (that is a scant 23 days away!).

You can get all sorts of info on their website: Beastie Boys

There is a new video that you can watch on the site, promo shit to snag as well as other weird stuff (including a twenty-minute-long interview that is just plain bizarre).

I am sorry, I love the damned Beastie Boys. Their second album (Paul's Boutique) was mind-blowingly good, and I love all of their other albums as well (with the notable exception of the godawful "Licensed to Ill"). The Beastie Boys have grown over the years and their music has always progressed with them.

I have heard their anti Iraq War song ("In a World Gone Mad") released on their website a year ago (awful does the word "awful" an injustice), and still have faith in these graying and increasingly less-flexible "boys." Their new single "Ch-Check It Out!" is pretty damned catchy, and shows that the B-Boys still have some mad skills residing inside their creaky flesh vessels.

Why don't you "ch-check [them] out..." you just may be glad you did...

(BTW... this was posted somewhere else and nobody replied... let's see how the music forums work at this site :fire)

Thank you for the reply sir!

BTW... some of their new music rocks as well... just in a different way. The B-Boys have always been willing to experiment with all types of influences and styles... making something new that is unique to them.
