Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

I heard this was a good album, but I'm feeling too lazy to download it right now, so is it worth the time?

its got a bunch of good songs...

I did an essay one time in high school on one called 'bullet with butterfly wings' and got a 105.... its a good song. there are some others that I cant remember the name of right now as well. and if you search for it, its melancholy....

Wow i bougth that album ages ago. Prolly one of the best double Cd's to EVER hit shelves. Although i'd say it's Corgan's last great work it's pretty much the pinacle of his work in my opinion. But yes the CD is more than worth DL i'd dare say even pay for. If ur into Videos that cd spawned soem great visual art as wel las the music. Tonite, tonite is one of my fav videos i was also very touched by the way the video for thirty -three was shot. Intruiging no doubt but anyway again i'd say one ofthe best double albums def a very well thought out concept album. As for songs to pay attention to :

Galapagos - amazing way he builds it up an drops it down
Cupid De Locke- the harp and his voice actually isn't very whiny on this
Porcelia of the oceans - dramatic and serene at same time gives u a floating sensation
Through the eyes of Ruby- James Iha is let loose in this ripping song
In the arms of sleep- not to bad accoustic take

Of course u had the radio hits a lot of em those werea few i thought i'd make soem good mention of
    :wings

passion may live through its own daily resurrection, and
like the phoenix rise above its own ashes.
