I like this band a lot, and wondered how many more of you are fans of them. They've had a profound effect on my thinking, way of life, and hell even vocabulary,

Not my ball of wax...Good to hear that you've found a sense of inspiration though.

I got a love/hate relationship going on with BR. I love everything up to and including Generator, plus a few songs from Recipe, and I can't stand everything after....BUT.....the new album...and I've only heard it once, so I might be wrong, actually seems to have some of the spark that they've been missing for the last decade.Originally Posted by MoonMan

American Jesus is the best song by them.

Yes American Jesus is exceptionally awesome and a testament to just how good they are.

I've heard the name thrown around, but actually know nothing about them..
If you had to give them a genre or genres, what would it be?
You can't triple stamp a double stamp.
punk, but they go a lot deeper than that.

I love Bad Religion, they're my favorite punk band. Ever. Most punk bands just scream shit about nothing really. Hell, listening to Bad Religion though, I had to make a list of words I didn't understand so that I could write them down. Their witt and sarcastic cynacism is definatly an inspiration to myself, as it is to many others. In short: I love em'
How's about them apples?
I don't much care for the gritty nature of the beats an the dudes voice...but some of their stuff is damn good and... hey it's some good music based on lyrics alone.
