What is your opinion of Bad Religion?

I like this band a lot, and wondered how many more of you are fans of them. They've had a profound effect on my thinking, way of life, and hell even vocabulary,

Not my ball of wax...Good to hear that you've found a sense of inspiration though.

I got a love/hate relationship going on with BR. I love everything up to and including Generator, plus a few songs from Recipe, and I can't stand everything after....BUT.....the new album...and I've only heard it once, so I might be wrong, actually seems to have some of the spark that they've been missing for the last decade.

Yes American Jesus is exceptionally awesome and a testament to just how good they are.

I've heard the name thrown around, but actually know nothing about them..

If you had to give them a genre or genres, what would it be?

I can credit BR for getting me into punk music in many aspects. It's been many years and I still love the band. I'll be seeing them July 15 :D

Yet that's the only new song from them I like. I like their old stuff, but their new stuff is HORRIBLE.

I love Bad Religion, they're my favorite punk band. Ever. Most punk bands just scream shit about nothing really. Hell, listening to Bad Religion though, I had to make a list of words I didn't understand so that I could write them down. Their witt and sarcastic cynacism is definatly an inspiration to myself, as it is to many others. In short: I love em'
    How's about them apples?

I don't much care for the gritty nature of the beats an the dudes voice...but some of their stuff is damn good and... hey it's some good music based on lyrics alone.
