I wouldn't...I don't like greasy hairbands that turned into androgynous perverted greaseballs who make songs for cult movies. Then again, I wouldn't pay 10 dollars to see Jim Morrison back alive, well and playing.

I found Van Halen old stuff before and including thier release in 1983 with David Lee Roth where thier best stuff. Nothing with Sammy or that third guy was good to listen to. I got every release of Van Halen up to thier 1983 release and all David Lee Roth solo stuff also.

i use to be fanatically opposed to van haggar and was devoted to the old band.
however, in the last couple of years, from interviews and shows and such, i've begun to think a little differently on the matter. people in the hard rock music world really seem to appreciate sammy more as a musician then d.l.r.. and he seems to be a cool dude. dave seems a little flakey to me. people going to his shows say he can't hit those hi notes anymore and that his attempt to get the crowd into the show is a sad failure.
I will always like the old van halen better then the new (fair warning's one of my most favorite albums of all time) but i am much more introspective as far as how i look on the changes that occured.

Van Halen is good with sammy and david.. What will really suprise you that Sammy And david lee roth was touring together and singing their solo songs as well as van halen songs. David Got drunk alot of the times.. and sammy would BLOW David lee roth away.. . I never cared for the guy being in Van Halen that use to be in Extreme.. I like him in Extreme.. Van Halen were way ahead of its time. I can still listen to their earlier works and enjoy it.
