    anyone know how to turn off? sorry for old question

    To be or not to be

    Press Start, and find the icon called "control panel". When you select it you'll see some categories choose "Network and Internet connections", then click on the network connections icon (not internet options). You should see two icons one "1394 connection" and the other "local area connection" go over the icons (both may be firewalled) and press the right mouse botton and select properties. Then Click on "advanced" and uncheck the box where it says internet connection firewall.
