    Flatt and Scruggs

This is just for those that are country fans, and have never discovered this qroup. Old time bluegrass, and they have done may themes for tv shows over the years. Including Pettycoat Junction, and the Beverly Hillbillies. Another well known tune is the theme from Deliverence, known as duelling banjos. For those that enjoy this type of music this is a band that truly deserves to be remembered.

Flatt and Scruggs were in a class of their own--great musicians and trend setters.

They are good but you got to listen to the Dillards, specifically Doug Dillard. They are better known as the hillbilly band on the Andy Griffith show "the Darlings. Doug is probably the best banjo player ever. Look around on your favorite p2p for tunes such as Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Dueling Banjos (they do it with a mandolin & banjo- fucking awesome), Dougs tune, Banjo in the Holllow, Hickory Hollow and Blugrass Breakdown - just to name a few. These guys rock!!!
May you always run with the wind at your back and good friends by your side.

The guys who did the "Soggy Bottom Boys" in O' Brother were really cool. Wish i could have went to the concert with all the performers of that soundtrack when they were touring.
