    p2p to download software

sup guys, got a question whats teh best p2p to download software. I am using Ares but I really dont see much of anything i put in is there a better p2p.

Also I tried overnet and emule but it seems my college is one of those univeristies that are filtering out p2p
    any advice

Well I was going to say Overnet for software, but you can switch the UDP and TCP ports it needs so that you can put any port. Port scan yourself, see which ports remains open, and then use those. There are bound to be a few your university didn't block, as there are legitimate reasons to use different ports.
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

    ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
    AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
    Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
    Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1
    Upgraded to 2GB RAM.

i've never used that one, but you can scan the first 1025 ports at http://www.grc.com

    look for ShieldsUp

that's your connection. if you want to find out if your ISP is blocking ports, take the router out of the loop and scan while the modem is hooked up to an un-firewalled computer.
