Am I the only one who is REALLY sick of the polls meant to bash another Zeropaid member?
especially the "Do you think $USER should be banned?" polls and the "$MODERATOR is a jerk and needs to be stripped of his power because $REASON" If there is a legitimate dispute there are better ways to go about voicing your complaints.

It is a forum issue that needs to be adressed.
How it is a forum issue. What forum policy or structure is the issue here? Singling out one mod that they "hate" for personal reasons like people like notbob here is not a forum issue, forum issues are not specific to one person, and if it is a forum issue and involves moderators then it involves how things are done by all the moderators.
To be fair for a while i thought the reasons for deleted threads were publically viewable. They are not, that was a mistake. All the other issues were already changed and not because of the flaming and spamming and playing the blame game that has been going on either.
Its pointless and stupid to have a Do you believ in God thread, or does God exist.. Obviously these threads should be closed as fast as the hate seph threads.. or just as fast.
why is it pointless??, i only just joined ZP, but from what i've seen it is much more than just file-sharing-troubleshooting-polling-reference place, it's much much more, and the site is much greater because it hasn't strictly limited itself to one topic...only good comes out of ZP providing discussion of areas outside filesharing...
It is a forum issue. It is not a matter of structure or policy. When you have the vast majority of active posters who have the same problem with the way a particular mod (no for personal reasons, for public reasons since the moderation affects everybody here and not just "me" or "you") it becomes a forum issue. If you add up 100 personnal issues for the same thing, become public issues.

Sorry man you're alone on this one. You dont ear complains about other mods (not to that extent). Its about the way you use your power, not about the policies, stucture, hierarchie or what not.
You see, its a forum issue. A forum issue all about you. I'm beginning to think you enjoy all this, beeing the center of attention and all this. Thinks havent changed since I joined a year ago. These exact same threads could have been written over a year ago.
i think admins should listen to the members' concerns, since the members, not the mods, are the ones who make the site what it is

bash threads/polls: pointless ugly and stupid. doesn't really matter what the content is or if I agree or disagree with it (speaking as someone who has managed to piss off Jorge with one post and have another deleted by Sephiroth this week). oh yeah those bash threads and polls have one other quality: very very boring. a bit of flaming and/or trolling...well sometimes people really ask for it and sometimes....you just do it cos you can and cos its fun and its funny but a long campaign to keep pushing one person into inevitable actions which he is accountable for and can't avoid....that sucks....I can't see who it helps. I think, like most people here, that too many threads are closed for totally obscure or mistaken reasons and that whole subject should be reviewed by all the mods as equals or things won't ever get worked out, but most people who get permanently banned have really worked hard to get to that point.
I think we should all use as much bandwidth as we like as long as we are within the rules, it isn't our concern as members and it shouldn't be brought up in the forums, it's strictly an admin matter. . Already two of the best longrunning, friendly, non controversial, everyone can join in, threads here have become totally lame because you can't see the pictures anymore...that is the desktops thread and the photography thread. its a big loss for certain of us.I think ppl should stick to creating intelligent threads, not bandwidth wasting polls such as the ones i have spoted over the past couple days
