    is this the best

    hi guys just new and learning the ropes....

    wondering if winmx is the best to use for downloading movies...i want to be able to play them on my dvd player so i want to maintain some high quality. from what i understand most movies download in avi format....what would be the best format to convert to to have similar or equal to dvd standard.....

    will winmx do the job

    which bt would you recomm though.....what are seeders......from what i can tell you need to upload at the same time....what i you have nothing to upload or dont want to

    umm... kyle... its suprnova.org, not supernova.org (drop the "e")

    supernova.org is a scam site that tries to get people to pay for filesharing (does anyone else see the irony in that?)

    on the otherhand, suprnova.org is a torrent site. if you actually are going to try bittorrent (which i reccomend you do, just be carful with really popular stuff) you might also want to look at isohunt.com

    you don't have to worry about the sharing aspect of BT much. you open a torrent file that you download from a site. you begin downloading that file from a pool of users, who are also downloading the same thing. as soon as you get a fragment of the file (usually 256KB) you begin sharing it with others automatically. they all do the same, and as a result, the load on the server isn't nearly as high.

    it looks like the best way to do it is to use 3 or 4 sites to get what u want....
