    Question edonkey forgets files??

I have been downloading on edonkey, but suddenly my all my downloads stopped.

They are still in the temporary directory as .part files(i.e not complete yet), but the client seems to have forgotton about them and isnt downloading them any more.???

    Can anyone help me here?

    Cheers guys

Is this your first time using eDonkey?

If the downloads stopped, it might because you're in queue.

Maybe the file you're trying to download is incomplete for so long which some users have not finished yet or some users stopped sharing the one that is completed... you wouldn't able to finish that fast unless some users from around the world has your missing pieces... it's like a puzzle. It doesn't matter if there are lots of available users if you're downloading a file and the progress bar with dark blue still has a red on it for 2 months, forget it and find another one.

Well i fixed the problem, apparently it happens from time top time. But a program called regenerater makes the files valid again, its a v small java program. Called regeneraterGUI, cant remember where i got it from, but i found it in the edonkey forums.
