New User Needs Help Plz

Morning All

I've just started using WinMX and am having a couple of problems with it, mainly I cant seem to send messages to people (I get a message saying remote system didnt aknowledge the message) but I can recieve them. I was trading with somebody and the file they wanted timed out and has gone from my upload list and I wanted to message them to get them to pick the d/l again so I could restart it but keep getting that message. I have tried with a several other people and get the same error response.

The other one is I seem to be going further down the queue for 2 files I'm trying to d/l, I check on it and I'm remotely queued 2, then when I check again I'm remotely queued 8. I dont understand quite whats going on so any help or advice would be greatly recieved. i have tried to go to the online help section but its currently under construction which is not that helpful at all!

what i would do is not worry about it, they may left winmx or stop the download... You can download a instant messenger and see if they want to trade file via messenger if they are unable to connect to you or obtain the file. if you do get a hold of them, see which chatroom their in.

The only thing you can try about the "remote system---" message is to go to connection and hit refresh and try to message again. This can take several attempts when trying to deal with some one in another country. Happens to me alot. You may be losing your que possition because of people refreshing their connection. Refreshing is a known way of getting more sources for files on WhenMx.
