    nvidia overclock problem

since I am limited to PCI cards when it comes to graphics cards, the best I can get (and have) is a geforce 4 440 MX. one could guess that this isn't exactly a high performance card. as a result, I overclock it using the coolbits registry hack. The problem is, lately after every restart, the clock speed and mem speed revert back to their defaults. I have it set so the speeds will be applied at startup, so what gives?

What are you talking about that card is awesome.

Used it for a few years before I upgraded :]

Not sure why that is but are you sure your really over clocking it, sounds like it cant be overclocked and just keeps reverting back to its default settings.

But I have no idea though, so just a guess.

    It depends.

Some makes of certain cards simply cant be overclocked.

Geforce 4 is fine enough without being overclocked, dont be so picky :]
