Not really, since its composed mostly of career politians.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

I chose the MJ option, just because......

I can't say whether I trust an entity completely or not. I don't even have a third of the information I should have, in order to form an opinion.

I suppose, that, in and of itself would make one lean towards the "I don't trust you" catagorey, but I can't be certain.

I do know one thing, politicians can be bought with dinero, all of them.

    Anything is possible.

This is good. We were never meant to trust the government. Lack of trust is the reason that our government was origianlly designed with checks and balances. The founding fathers of this country intended that we do not have any more faith in it than is absolutely necessary. We are doing our patriotic duty in questioning every action that our governent performs, and I am thankful everyday that we have the right to do so.

The government in general? It's hard to say when you're not given all the facts.

I trust goverment over money grabbing companies like the RIAA or Ticket Master, but if I was an Americian it wouldn't be by much. I just hate $money$ or anything that would give a small amount of people power over everyone else.

If I were to amass enough financial power to make a few necessary purchases, I may then trust that, those few governing entities are, in fact, employees, paid to support my interests. In the meantime, I often make the forced mandatory donation, otherwise known as "tax", in exchange for some services I neither requested nor desire. In this process, I trust that the governing entities will always be willing to accept any consolidated compensation for time, toil, and effort, as long as that compensation has value against goods and services. In short, I trust that those entities that govern, are a subclass and have the attributes of natural living entities, and will thus act through instincts of self-preservation by providing for their own self-interests first.

Love watching Parloment on BBC America. If someone disagrees with another statements they let him now my booing or yelling and just coming up short of a fight. Here they use a phony tone of voice with tiles of the honorable congressman/woman when talking about someone. Hell lets see a few first fights break out on Capital Hill by CSPAN. Be a hell of a lot more interesting then the phony image they try and project now.

As for facts in government Potato, right now they do not seem to have any place for facts in government, at least any truthful facts that is. The popular phrase on Capital Hill seems to be "Lets don't cloud the issue with facts",

You can never trust a politician. They're twisters of information who would all sell their soul (or vote) to the higest bidder.

It's kind of scary that a government without any facts can be one of the largest publishers of information in the world.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
