    Best free ripper?

Can anyone recommend a good, fast, free cd ripper?

Windows media player if you don't mind WMA... iTunes for AAC.. Winamp I think does something, but I don't think the free version dose MP3... Burnatonce... etc. Look on google or sourceforge, there's plenty to pick from.

He said Good, fast and free, that describes CDEx. But anyways, this isnt something so great as to get into an argument. To each his own. Try 'em all, you judge them.

When I used EAC.. I must have done something wrong.. because I told it to encode to 320.. but instead it encoded to 28... hmmm

Started up CDex and its perfect for me.

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1

Okay, so I'm going to try CDex. Now I'm at the dl page and have a choice between a .zip file and a .exe file. Which is better and why?

EAC (www.exactaudiocopy.de) with LAME is all you'll ever need.

I have dmc audio input but it takes like 30 min. to rip a disc. I hope this isn't considered fast.
