LP Help
Hey guys...I need your opinions once again. I want to take a few LP's...you know, old vinyl records...anyway, I want to put them on my computer and digitally remaster the scratches out and such. Does anyone know a good program that will do all of this?

Well, Nero 6's wave editor has some decent filters, the best I've forund so far are in Cool Edit, which is now an Adobe product. I'm using a Terratec Phono Preamp Studio USB to connect to my turntable. The device has the ADC built in, and you can find it for $100 or so. It also has click/hiss editing software with it.

YOUR WATCH DOG 67
Have the MS Plus media plug and play kit. I have the original Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon LP and trasfered it to my Dell and used the pop and hiss edit. The record is over 30 yrs old and it had a lot of play out of it. When I was done cleaning up the download, it had removed about 80% of the pops hiss and crack. It is by no means like a store bought CD but it is of very good quality for me. the kit only cost $20
