Can you help?? Im having trouble getting rid of my internet explorer. Everytime I start up my computer IE starts up as well and its such a pain as IE doesn`t even work!! I have tried updates, reintsalls and anything else I can think of.
I was given an advanced browser by a friend and this works fine, infact I prefer it! Trouble is I cannot stop the IE launch everytime I turn my PC on. When I go into IE in my programs Im still unable to uninstall it and I have been told I need a registry hack.
So please help my either repair the IE or uninstall it.

First of all, you might want to change the forum name so admins dont whine.
Second, go to your start, run, type in msconfig, click startup, and find the one that is set to start up IE and disable it.
to get it too stop comming up on start up
and you are using xp I hope just
go to run>type "msconfig">startup tap and uncheck it

^ieradicator will uninstall it if you still want. There's probably another way to uninstall it too.
has anyone here tried that new computer ketchup? I hear it's a lot better than the regular kind. It's also supposed to be better then the purple kind.

Unless someone here is a member of psychic friends, there no way we can advise you on what to do, as yo didnt have the insight to even post your O/S, or IE version #. You didnt mention service packs either.
GO GET more info, then come back. It sounds like youve been hijacked, and you have deeper issues.
