Hi to all. Have Win XP Prof. I also have Roxio Easy CD Creator 6 installed and it works great. However I need to formatt hard drive and I have somehow lost the Roxio CD. Now I have been told that I cannot make another CD from my installed files because they will be spread out all over the computer!
I will want to reinstall it again after the formatt, is there any way I can do this?
Now I must say that I went into search, clicked on Roxio Easy CD Creator 6 and 30 files appeared, if I put those all onto a CD could I use it to install Roxio?

Correct, you can't just copy the files. Why do you want to format?
Which search are you talking about?
I would just like to format and put a clean install with Win XP Prof. It is good computer practice for a 75 year old who don't know nothing!
Re "What search" The search on the start menu of my Win XP Prof!

Couldn't you just download a copy from Roxio's web site and then use your "old" software license... ? I think it's your best choice... and legal I think...

it sounded way to easy.. It can only be hard.. =) Do it before the format to make sure you get it.
Assuming you still have the cd case that the program came in, which is where the serial number is.
Always be nice to those around you. After all, some day you might need CPR.......
