    tracker or abc problems?

i currently have abc. 2.6.5. for some reason, torrents that were previously downloading seem to
    a) upload INCREDIBLE amounts of data (torrent A had a u/d size of 1900%) and keep the download at the same speed, and when tryin 2 close it it crashes and
    b) if abc was closed and reopened after a) had happened, then resumed torrents would pause at the 'checking existing data'.

im no expert on bittorrent, so any help would be appreciated.

I havn't been a fan of this release of ABC. The inability to minimise to tray is poor craftmanship. It is already out of date because of BT 3.4. See if you can get version 2.6.1 from somewhere. Alternatively try a different client like Azureus. I'm sure that the second ABC updates it will be reported here. You can change back/upgrade then.
I'm not really malicious. I'm a nice guy.
If you are even slightly concerned about your BT speeds, please check this thread.
