    Small Freenet Problem

    hello..

Upon the recent frenzy of Freenet posts, I decided to give it another try. So I got it, then downloaded the daily Snapshot, started it. The problem is, when I go to open the gateway (open freenet in the browser) it doesnt do a thing. I've tried switching my default browser to IE, but to no avail.

If someone could tell me which port freenet uses, like when it opens in the browser it goes to 127.0.0.1:P# where P# is the port number it uses by default. If someone could tell me this, I wouldnt mind just using freenet by typing in this address, rather than doing it through freenet.

So the question again: What port do you put after the 127.0.0.1 in the address bar to access your freenet home page?

    thanks

Wrong, port 80 is the webserver host. I run a webserver so I know. It's also the default port.

If i use port 80, I get the equivelant of what you see here: http://hawkburn.homedns.org
