What was the original file extension when you downloaded them?

Was it .ISO, .Nrg, .Bin ...etc?

Nero Burning Rom 6 can pretty much burn most CD-ROM images. If it's .bin, it will need to be coverted to .iso for Nero to burn it.

well they both were EXE. except the second disk had .iso in its name, so i changed it in dos from exe to iso, but alcohol cant burn it right. or load it to a virtual drive, which it normaly can. and when i tried to burn it as a iso on nero it said wrong block, but i continued anyways.

    any ideas?

sometimes on P2P networks, you have to. They name something .iso.exe and you're supposed to drop the .exe and have just an .iso image.

Any luck? Did the guide help you? Still having problems?

Chill out, every1 isn't a nerd like others are :D.
your best bet is to go download WinRAR, it can ripp open ISO files. this is what you do.
    1.Download.com
    2. Search for Winrar, dl, install, restart
    3. Click the 2 downloaded goodies from zen network :)
    4. IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION THAT SAYS EXTRACT HERE/TO FOLDER/ WHATEVER ELSE , try and extract it OR load the disks into a image drive. The reason kazaa peeps rename it is so when users do SOFTWARE searches, EXEs come up.

one im not an idiot, i wouldn't have asked unless i needed some help. Second no your guide doesn't help cause i knew those facts in the first place. Thank you for the guide. But my problem is that the exe is trying to run in dos, and crashes. I changed the exten. to iso, but the block is wrong so it comes out trashed. I cant even load it into alcohol. and I have tried almost every exten know to man kind.

It seems that it was suppose to be a iso. due to the label, and after checking more files came up with the same idea. but knowing jack about how they write their game or if its a safe disc or safedisc2 setup. No clue on that. I choose to ask figuring some one had the same problem.

    Thanks again.

and to the people that think im retarded for asking for help, then thats your problem. No one is perfect. It's not like your mom could give birth to you with out help.

I will keep trying and let you know what happens. if you come up with another idea please send it my way. Thanks again.

A possible solution is that the file is a fake.

There are a lot of fake files of everything on P2P networks. For laughs, I'd try opening it up in winamp or a windows media player.

I tried to download a program and it turned out to be a big empty .wav file. Boy was I annoyed.

    lol.
