Thread: what do the colors in search results mean?

    Question what do the colors in search results mean?

    some are black, some are blue, some are green, and some are red

    can't seem to find an explanation in Help

    Its in the edonkey/emule forum so I assume its one of the two ;)

    Edonkey doesnt have the yellow or green so it must be emule:

    Black shows the parts of the file you already have
    Red indicates a part missing in all known sources
    Different shades of blue represent the availability of this part in the sources. The darker the blue, the higher the availability
    Yellow denotes a part being downloaded
    The green bar on top shows the total download progress of this file

    Etines has listed the colours in the transfers tab. asked about the search results. weksdk222 asked about the search results.

    You can get an emule help from from the emule download page which answers this question and more. Read it.

    From the emule help.
    o Color coding of Search Results

    > Black, dark blue, light blue
    Indicates the number of sources found for a specific file. Black = 1 - 3 sources, dark blue = 4 - 9 sources, light blue = 10+ sources

    > red
    Files already in the download list are shown in red
    > Green
    Hits shown in green are already downloaded and completed.
