I was under the impression that the credit system in e-mule was related to much time you spend in a queue not download speed.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
iam uploading alot of stuff & iam sure its not bcoz of tht!Originally Posted by mr.jip

Well theres no need for all the !'ing
Heres how to solve your problem:
1.) Relax.. take a deep breath.. hold 1 2 3.. exhale
ok...
2.) Make sure the port you want to use is forwarded in your router. Make sure ZoneAlarm gives Full outbound and inbound access to eMule, even e-mail port access if it wants it.
3.) Disable the "fast-connect" features. You may be getting false low-id connections.
4.) Make sure you are connecting to a reliable server.. Check ocbmaurice.dyndns.org for a good server list.
5.) If all else fails, ask you friendly local geek to do it for you :)
